Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog loved the dog food I gave her a little sample before dinner time and she went crazy over it and she normally does not like dry food that much unless it has some wet food mixed in but she gobbled down this one like shes never seen food before as most dogs do I would recommend and the ingredients seem to be all natural as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog loved mealtime now! I have been feeding my dog Taste of the Wild wetlands for 4 months now. I have switched foods off and on for awhile now because she’s a picky eater. I found this brand and loved the ingredients in it and it seems so does she! She always does a happy dance when she sees me put the food in her bowl. I would definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My pup seemed to actually really enjoy this food. Typically he doesnt seem to eat instantly but he literally ate it all right when I put it in his bowl. He is a pug pit mix and is about 50lbs if that matters.... I would purchase this and I would recommend it to other pet owners!Ancient Wetlands Canine Recipe with Roasted Fowl

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I honestly did not even consider feeding this to my dog. My dog is already sensitive to certain foods and proteins, but this brand has also had recalls and is more recently listed as one of the brands that may be linked to heart disease in pets. I appreciate the free sample, but I will probably be donating this to a shelter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My dog ate the bowl right up and has been acting the same since! I worry changing his food will upset his tummy but not this time! I like that it doesnt have a strong scent and the recommended dosage is the same as the food we currently use, Natures Recipe. Minus one star because of the price! $50 bucks for a 28lb bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best dinner for our boys! Used Taste of the Wild for many years and all our Labs loved it. Adopted a big, beautiful yellow boy with a heart condition and our vet suggested adding grain option as food due to the heart condition. Now our boys enjoy the ancient grains food. We also adopted a Bluetick Coon Hound who eats like our Labs- and loves itg!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay so obviously I didnt take a bite of this, but my pupper was very excited about some new foods. It definitely has a very strong scent, and I have a bad sense of smell so the fact that I can smell it means its got a strong odor; Not that its a bad thing. She ate it very quickly so Im guessing no complaints from her!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My good pup seems to really enjoy this. We didnt want to feed him a whole meal of it because we didnt want to randomly change up his current food. Weve been giving it to him like treats and he absolute loves it! Hes been begging us for more! In the future I think were going to try a big bag and see how he takes to it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My doggo was thrown off by the shape of the kibble, but after giving it a try he gobbled it up! We typically get the chicken flavored dog food but this made me reconsider buying more products like this. Looking at the ingredients, it definitely looked like they focused on quality. I would get this again for my dog!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our dogs will not have anything else We've been feeding our dogs Wetlands for 5 years and my dog refuses any other brand or flavor. My newest member also will not eat her puppy food unless some Wetlands is in there. I even have a ferret who tries to steal it. Best of all, it's healthy for all of them and I don't have to worry about the ingredients!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received this product complimentary in a VoxBox and my pup went absolutely nuts - she loved it! She always loves eating anything out of her norm, but she really licked the bowl clean with this food. My only recommendation would be to make the product a bit cleaner and more simple based on the ingredients list.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We just received our voxbox and I must say my pups were beyond excited! It was gone in no time flat! I live that it is good for my babies! We mixed with their normal food to avoid any belly aches but seems to be a hit with them! I usually give them extra supplements with protien, but with this i dont need to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only food my dog can eat My Golden Retriever has struggled for years with severe food allergies and will react to small amounts of very common ingredients. This recipe from Taste of the Wild has been our saving grace. He has not had allergy symptoms since starting it and everyone we meet comments on how beautiful and soft is coat is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our pup loved it and gobbled it right up. Hes a medium sized terrier. Love the ingredients and philosophy of the brand. This is comparable to the expensive food we buy for him currently so we may be switching over to this one. We received these samples complimentary for review purposes. #WildForAncientGrains

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's not a bad dog food and my Frank seemed to enjoy it, but he is pretty easy to please. I let him help me open the box so he was pretty happy about that. The "ancient grains" is just something to make you wanna buy it, as it's just referring to Chia and quinoa, but it's still got very good ingredients :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog is usually very picky, but she really enjoyed this! It definitely aided her digestion. About fifteen minutes after eating, she was full of energy and was excited to get out and run around all of our land! Since she is a picky eater, we werent sure how it would go, but we would definitely purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Dogs absolutely loved it! They did not leave one bit. I have 2 German Shepherds and one Blue Heeler so we had all of them try it and they loved it. I like that it has a lot of ingredients that are good for them and they are natural. Also all of these ingredients help in your dogs muscle development.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean bowls every meal I’ve been using Taste of the Wild for a number of years now. My dogs immediately started eating every kibble in their bowl at meal time when I switched. My son feeds the same flavor to his dog, which is a litter mate to one of mine. I highly reccyot to everyone especially those with working dogs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Dog food Because of your high prices, you have priced me out of T of the W. I am changing food with in a month. Your bags are getting smaller and your price is raising. Good bye. Also, I sent you an email about where you got your meat for the dog food, and you never wrote me back. That makes me wonder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog is normally a picky eater but he loved this! The ingredients are healthy and it makes him happy. I might end up switching to this brand due to it being significantly cheaper than the current brand we use. I received this complimentary for testing purposes however all opinions are my own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Im sad to say that this product made my dog very ill. He is a very large 150lb Great Dane so he can eat pretty much anything and not get sick. I fed him this for dinner in lieu of his normal food and he had diarrhea for several days and had to be put on medicine and a special food by the vet :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My dog seems to like it. I started out with the recommendation of using it as a treat at first and my dog kept wanting more. Thank you so much Influenster for sending us two packs of this Ancient Wetlands dog food to try it out. Might be something that me and my bf will purchase in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog absolutely loved the taste of the wild roasted fowl!! I couldnt even get the samples out of the box before he tried taking it from me. Then he just stared at me with his puppy eyes waiting patiently. He cleared his bowl in record time. Ill definitely be on the look out for this flavor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My dog LOVED this dog food from Taste Of The Wild! The ingredients are very high quality. My dog cant get enough of it, and scratches at the pantry where he knows Im hiding it! It feels good to give him something that he loves so much, knowing that I can pronounce all of the real ingredients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I recently started feeding my dogs the grain inclusive version of this dog food and I am thrilled with the product. They really like it, the price point is great. With all of the issues arising lately with grain free dog foods, I would definitely recommend the grain inclusive version of this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Piper loved this product! We gave the first bag to her in small portions in with her other food, then the second bag by itself, she loved it more than her normal food, and we even used a few pieces as treats, she knew what it was by the time we were out of it, good product! #tasteofthewild

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog is extremely picky with his dry food, but he LOVED this food! I'm even able to use it as "treats." Nugget is a 45lb corgi and the kibble size was perfect for him too. I've been searching for a new food for him, so I'm looking forward to purchasing more and trying it out long term.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My pup genuinely liked it. He's a very picky eater. Honestly I even smelled it. It smelled pretty fresh and I felt comfortable giving him the bag of food. I did research and found many people felt the same way. The only thing that is keeping me from purchasing full size is the price tag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Boykin spaniel was a huge fan of the Ancient Wetlands Canine Recipe with Roasted Fowl dogfood that we received from Influenter. We love to get "Bo" options that have quality products at a good price point and Ancient Wetlands checks all of our boxes. We will definitely be purchasing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality food We have been feeding our four dogs this food for a couple of years now. We had to switch from a different brand because it was making one of the dogs upset. This food has been awesome for all of them! Their coats are shiny, they love to eat it at meal times, and haven’t had any issues.

Is it okay to mix the grain free and ancient grains ?

Asked by: Scooby
Hello, and thanks for reaching out! Taste of the Wild and Taste of the Wild Ancient Grains recipes are complete and balanced and can be fed in rotation or in combination. Some dogs are more sensitive than others, so we always recommend a gradual transition between recipes to avoid digestive upset. While this outcome is unlikely, when multiple recipes are mixed it is possible that the dog could develop a dietary intolerance or sensitivity to a particular ingredient, and then it’s hard to isolate the culprit from among the multiple recipes. However, it’s important to know that most dogs will do fine with either feeding method. If you have any additional questions, we encourage you to contact us or speak with your veterinarian.
