Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only affordable food for my dogs allergies One of my dogs has a rice and chicken allergy and this seems to be the only food that doesn't cause flare ups for her. Ever since switching she hasn't been itching herself as much and hasn't had any tummy issues. Switched my other dog to it as well and he likes it just as much. Glad I switched to this food and hope to continue buying it in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from our dogs love the taste! Been feeding for several years and meal time is always such a pleasure - watching them be excited for meal time. Love knowing that Taste of the Wild is helping them live life to the fullest. Love to see that energy and stamina when they go exploring on a hike or playing with the ball. Noticed after a few days that coat look and feel had improved!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing results When we first received our black lab 4 years ago, we had him on Blue Buffalo chix recipe. After about 6 months he had diarrhea. After visiting our vet and many test later we changed over to Taste of Wild Roasted Lamb per our vet request and I am very pleased with the results. He is now 4 1/2 years old and his build and coat are absolutely amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GSD goes crazy for it, as a picky eater! We’ve been trying out different Taste of the Wild flavors since our German Shepherd was a puppy. Our Australian Shepherd loves everything so no worries in their department. Our German Shepherd however is picky and normally wants to play with a ball 24/7. We found he absolutely LOVES this recipe and is the only one he will drop his ball for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bucky’s fave! My Lab has beef allergies, so it took awhile to find a food that he would eat and was beef free. As soon as we tried the Sierra Mountain with Lamb we knew our searching was over. He drools as soon as we fill his bowl and he has never had stomach issues while on it. You have customers for life!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thanks it may surprise you to know that “a grain free recipe” does not qualify as grain free to dogs with severe grain allergies if you pack it in a facility that also packs food with grains. Clever change on your packaging though. Without our dogs getting sick we probably would not have noticed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Lab DROOLS For It! My Lab has allergies and a sensitive stomach and was itching all the time. Since I started him on the roasted lamb, he's crazy for it! He DROOLS over it! He's never acted so happy about food. To top that off, he's not itching anymore and his tummy is happy. Thank You for Taste of The Wild!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best food period It’s hard to tell what our partners think about their food. We decided to test our two, out. We bought small packs of other brands and let them choose. One will eat anything, everything, cat food and has no “Full” level. The other is very picky and eats slow. She chose BB every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great results feeding my dog Taste of the Wild! I switched to Taste of the Wild after my Frenchie got bored with his former brand of kibble. It got to the point where he wasn’t finishing his food anymore and I was researching new brands. I went with Taste of the Wild bc I liked their philosophy, their ingredients list, and their numerous formulas allow for rotational feeding, ensuring my Frenchie won’t ever get bored with his food. I’m so glad we made the change! In 2 weeks my Frenchie bulked up and is able to maintain a healthy weight. His coat is so shiny and he has so much energy! He loves his new food and is always excited for meal time. My Frenchie has a poultry allergy so I love that I’m still able to get him delicious food with no poultry meal or byproducts. A 5lb bag lasts us just over 2 weeks so he loves getting to try different formulas and switching it up. My review is under the Sierra Mountain Canine recipe but honestly it goes for all their formulas with no poultry in them. Couldn’t be happier with our brand of dog food! We love Taste of the Wild!

I have a dachshund who has recently had 13 struvite stones removed from her bladder. I am in need of a food that is low in protein, phosphorus, and magnesium; one that promotes formation of acidic urine. Any suggestions? She can no longer have Sierra.

My 2 year old Boxer has been dealing with slightly elevated liver enzymes his whole life. I had him on the High Prairie Dog Food originally but was concerned that the large amount of protein would be tough on his liver. Which food would you recommend?

Asked by: Scottie
Hello, Scottie. Since your Boxer has a chronic medical issue, it would be best to discuss diet with your veterinarian. The Sierra Mountain Canine Formula has 25.6% protein on an as-fed basis, quite a bit lower than the High Prairie. Your vet should be able to tell you if this is a good choice based on your dog’s medical history.
