Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wasnt thrilled with this food. My dogs have been on Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Canine Formula with Smoked Salmon for years. With recent DCM scares we thought maybe this type of grain may be ok for our very sensitive dogs. Im glad I only bought a small bag because my dogs were throwing up. Even eating cheap foods for a meal or two in a pinch this doesnt happen. I definitely wont be buying this again. We will stick with the other one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Her Skin Looks So Much Better One of my dogs has skin that breaks out in a rash, so I sometimes need to give her apoquel. Last year I decided to add your smoked salmon food to her diet. I don't have to give her apoquel as frequently and the groomer commented today how much thicker her hair is. It's been a year since I refilled her apoquel prescription and haven't used much of it the last 6 months. I'm glad I've found a food that has improved her skin issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog LOVED this food. He tends to not eat all of his food at once, but he devoured this. No sooner was it in his bowl than it was gone. Now that Im out of the samples he gives me a sad puppy face when he realizes its his old stuff. Would definitely recommend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soft stools that didn’t resolve after switching We tried to switch our Portuguese Water Dog to this food, but his stools became increasingly softer while switching. Even after VERY slowly switching over, we are going to have to throw out the rest of a LARGE bag because his stools are not solid at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dogs love it! Open Feeding taste of the oil for nine years now my dogs absolutely love it he keeps their coats healthy I have eight dogs and not one of them have ever had any health issues. I attribute that to the food we feed. Great quality food! What sets taste of the wild apart is their ingredients. I challenge you to compare similarly priced competitors ingredients list. TOTW takes the nutrients directly from the source where the competitors take it from processed down versions of the items and supplements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Food on a Budget I chose ancient stream for my dog because I love the omegas for my dog’s skin and coat health, and I love the added probiotics as well. This line has no corn, wheat, or soy, and no meat by products. I love that the grains included are more holistic and less processed. I also really love the price. I’m a college student so I don’t have a lot of money but taste of the wild is a great fit because I like to spoil my baby but I’m on a budget. I highly recommend it!! Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rhino likes it but his breath! Rhino has been eating ToW Salmon grain free for 2 yrs. Went to our pet store and they only had what appeared to be new was the ancient grain formula, so we got it. Blended it with the remainder of his grain free salmon. We also noticed his stool a different color and softer and recently his breath has become super fishy (like Barley's 3 mo ago) we are still in the 1st bag of this version and will be going back to grain free or trying beef. Rhino is a pure bred english bulldog btw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Our dogs wouldn't touch it :( We've been feeding our dogs every flavor of taste of the wild. THEY LOVE ALL OF THEM EXCEPT ancient stream with smoked salmon. I have 3 dogs: 1 that will eat anything, 1 that will eat it but non-commiting if he dosent like it, and 1 who is a picky eater. All 3 of my dogs refused to eat this flavor. They went 2 days without touching it. I tried putting bacon Grease and cheese on it but that still didn't help. I finally gave up and returned the bag. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only the Best for my Tribe! I have been buying Taste of the Wild since I adopted both of my Australian Cattle Dogs. I prefer the ancient grains brand with Salmon. What I love about this recipe is the first ingredient of "Deboned Salmon". They rely on me to take good care of them and I do my best with ensuring their diet is full of nutrients, sourced sustainable and safe. I trust Taste of the Wild with their impeccable reputation and ensuring my dogs only eat the best to live a long and healthy life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog is a VERY picky eater and I was so surprised to see that she LOVED this food. I always try to give my pup the best of the best but she normally turns her nose up at the healthier food and prefers other brands. This food I gave her a little piece and she was skeptical at first so I put some in her bowl only to turn around moments later to see her devouring it. I was so pleased that I can now get her a brand that isn't stuffed with fillers and other nasty ingredients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My boy is obsessed with this food! I’ve been feeding my sweet, big guy Taste of the Wild for six years now and recently switched him to the Ancient Grains formulas. His favorite seems to be the Ancient Stream flavor. He is looking fit and fabulous, his coat is super glossy and he absolutely goes wild for the flavor! I recommend this brand to all of my friends and family as it is super high quality and reasonably priced. I also love how responsive the customer service team is when I have any questions.

Hi I have my dog on your bison grain food can I mix it with your salmon food?

Asked by: KAM88
Hello, thanks for contacting us. We do not recommend feeding your pet a mixture of two dry products at once; however, if you would like to follow a rotation diet and transition to another recipe, we recommend a gradual transition between recipes over a period of 7-10 days. If you’d like to feed a mixture of food to your pet, you can mix a dry product and a canned product.
