Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miss Kitty was very please with her complimentary Taste of the Wild Angus Beef Cat Formula. Overall, this product met not only my cat's expectations but mine as well. The all natural ingredients without any grain products was a huge win for me! I will be purchasing this cat food from now on. I would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from @reillythedivacat has been loving this formula. I'm extremely careful in what I feed her and she is extremely picky. I was worried she wouldn't like the product. Thank GOD she did! I'm absolutely glad Influenster sent this to me for free to try as I am now gonna start buying this for my loving Orange Tabby Reilly :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2 out of 3 rescue cats agree...PREY is delicious, and they'll eat every kibble! We were all excited that it was grain-free, since cats are natural carnivores...and we don't hold one holding out against Taste of the Wild, since he's a picky prema donna. Hopefully we'll get to try wet for his finicky tastebuds soon!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My cats did not care for the angus beef option. They usually prefer a chicken or fish option which was not offered through this VoxBox. There was also no dietary option for indoor cats so it would not be a food I would use on a regular basis. The brand reputation and packaging were on par with my usual cat food.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Giving it a four because my cat really did love the food. He was slow to get into it, but later he kept going back for more. However I had to stop letting him eat it because it gave him diarrhea. But otherwise it seems like a great food choice! Probably would be great for others, it’s just not right for my cat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I KNOW this is a great brand of pet food. I love the ingredients, I love that it’s simple yet nourishing for my animals. I wish that my cat would see that too. She is VERY particular about the food she eats, she won’t eat anything else but her specific brand, which is of way lesser quality, but what can you do?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was a little skeptical about how my cats wound feel about this food because I only give my cats wet food. But when I say they loved it they absolutely loved it to the point that when one of my cats finished eating her portion she tried to eat my other cats portion! My cats can not get enough of this food!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My cat ADORES this food. We started it out as a treat item just to make sure it agreed with his stomach and we eventually added it a little at a time into his normal pet food. He's a VERY finicky eater and generally prefers the cheap dry cat food (i.e. Purina) and when given better brands he often turns his nose up. I probably shouldn't complain about that, but I worry that he's not getting correct nutrition. But he loved this food from the first bite. He seems to need to eat less as he's getting fuller and generally better nutrition (my general assumptions since he's not begging for more or different food). My only complaint is that this is not easy to purchase. I have to either order it online or make a special trip to Petco to get it. Once its in a major retailer like Walmart or a large grocery chain it will be much more convenient. I received this item free to test via Influenster's VoxBox program, but all opinions are my own and I was not required to write this review.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I don’t know if my cat is picky or what, but I tested the product 3 time for 48 hours and she just would not eat it. I compared it to her other food and she went right to it no issue. I’m not going to say the product is bad because it seems pretty amazing. But my cat is just set in her ways and stubborn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat absolutely loved this food! She is never enthusiastic about dry food. I put this out for her to take pictures and she gobbled it right up! I think it’s better than the brand I normally use. I would definitely recommend this to other cat owners. I received this product compliments of Influenster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat loved this Taste of the Wild, Prey - In flavor Angus Beef. He couldn't wait to get his nose into it. From the moment I brought the box in he knew there was a treat inside! The price is right for a high quality item. If you want to see life put back into your animal, purchase this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat loved this food and went wild for it! Some foods seem to make her throw up but this was very gentle on her stomach and she was meowing for more! It would be nice to have a store around town to carry this brand so then I can get my cat and dog the same brand and get it all in one stop

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have a 1.5 year old female cat. I scooped some of the food into her bowl and she literally ate the entire bowl full. I am pleased with the ingredient list and lack of color of the actual food (this is something that can upset a cat/dog's stomach) Coraline approves and so does her mommy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Both of my cats seemed to really like it. They both went right for it when I opened it, which is good because they can be finicky about there food. I would definitely pick some up next time I am pet food shopping. I don't know the cost though, they did not carry it at the store I was at.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My cat actually really enjoyed it although , I thought it was a bit harder than the regular cat food I have bought. Not sure if that is better for her teeth or if it is harder to chew. I assume this is really great for kittens / adult cats but will probably not work for older cats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My lil baby's favorite for years! My fur baby loves this food sooooo much and I love feeding it to him. I got a sample of it from the groomers a few years ago, and after I brought it home to him, there was no going back! He has a sensitive tummy and this is one of the only foods that doesn't cause him to vomit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We tried this food on my dog as our vet recommended it. Out dog liked it very much but after a while she stopped eating it gradually. We suspect she got bored by the food. However, I would recommend others to try it on their pet because it is very quality and the price is fair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat LOVES this food. I've started adding a handful of it to his usual dry food and he digs it out to eat first and leaves his usual food untouched. Whenever I open the cabinet where we keep the bag, he tries to drag it out of the cabinet. We'll definitely be ordering more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog is a very picky eater and has allergic reactions to lots of foods. They loved this food. No more skipped meals or having to put other foods with it to get them to eat their breakfast or dinner. We buy at the pet store with coupons and get great deals. Love, love love

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat absolutely loved this food but I couldn't find it anywhere near me. I still prefer the cheaper brand for her but, she's gaining a lot of weights so we may have to eventually switch brands and this will be in the running for my princess. We love our fat fur baby

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cat is allergic to all seafood so for stuff like this it definitely helps! He seemed to like it well enough, though he is definitely a picky eater and didnt eat all of it right away. I would probably buy this again simply because the ingredients are what he needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was surprised that my picky cats took to eating this food! I have 3 under 2 and they all seemed to enjoy it. I like the ingredients so that makes me happy! I definitely recommend and will be purchasing in the future! Thank you Influenster for sharing this with me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cats immediately inhaled this food. They both loved it! I feed my cats a combination of cheap food and urinary tract prevention food (since they hate the UTI kibble alone) and this would be a good alternative for the cheap stuff. I would definitely buy again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cats love this food! As of right now I am giving this to them as a treat everyday but I am thinking about buying this as their new food since they are enjoying it so much! I believe that the price is not too high so that also makes me like the product as well!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s hard to write a review for a pet food product because it takes time to see results for it but my tabby loved the flavor and gobbled it right up. Very pricey though. Definitely out of my budget, but if it became affordable I’d definitely give it a proper try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm absolutely amazed with the product thus far. My cat absolutely loves Taste of the WIld - Angus Beef Formula, he just gobbles it up when I give him his dry food in the morning. In fact I can say with 100% conviction that the results in this are amazing -- what I mean by that is -- my cat is a HOOVER eater and scarfs down his meals, so, I've had to give him obstacle bows to slow him down and help him to digest better, or, he throws up immediately, due to the product bloating up inside him. I was nervous about this product because the Taste of the Wild Angus Beef Formula for Cats has quite small bits and I wanted to make sure he would take time to chew thoroughly. However, with this product, I can happily report, I've been feeding him in a regular bowl, he scarfs it down, and he doesn't throw up! It's a miracle!! :D This must not be bloating out in him, like other products. I love that this is #grainfree #limitedingredientformula -- it has been way more gentle on his sensitive digestive system. Amen!! #nongmo #probiotics

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Since my dog loved this brand so much we tried it on the cats and they loved it too. The wet formula ia not their favorite only because they like dry food better, but we give them the wet food as a treat. This brand is so good and I like the ingredients in it.

My cat is on a special diet dry food because he gets urinary track infections and is in a lot of pain, and could die if not caught.

A vet that did a nutritional profile of my dog and one of the foods he is allergic to is tomatoes. I'm sure raw tomatoes are a no no, but if they are pressure cooked, that might be a different story. How are the tomatoes processed for the Prey Dog foods

Asked by: Jack
Hi, Jack – if your dog is allergic to tomatoes, we recommend not feeding him any food that contains tomatoes or tomato pomace. The processing method does not affect the potential for an allergic reaction unless the tomatoes have been hydrolyzed, which they have not been in our PREY recipe.

When was the chicken fat added to this cat food? It would have been nice if the front of the bag indicated recipe change. Is it true that chicken fat does not contain chicken protien?

Asked by: Mush
Hello, thanks for contacting us. Last year, we replaced sunflower oil with chicken fat in our PREY recipes. Chicken fat does not contain chicken protein, so cats with chicken allergies are less likely to have a reaction to this ingredient. This minor change does not alter the nutrient guarantee nor the caloric content and offers the same benefits of promoting skin and coat health.
