Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Both of my dogs love it! My one dog was raised on the puppy food and because she had a sensitive stomach, this is the only food she can tolerate. Her coat and skin are beautiful and she is at a very good weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insane levels of love We have fed TOTW in every variety to every dog (and cat) we have had since it became available. There isn't a loser flavor or composition in the bunch. When it is occasionally unavailable, the furry members of the family give me a full-blown side-eye when I put down brand-x, and go nuts with anticipation when they smell a newly opened can of "the good stuff."

How many times a day should I be giving my small breed dog your canned food? on the can it states how much but not how often>

Asked by: Jenn
How often you feed your dog is often a matter of preference, but you can use age as a guideline as well, as dogs can be fed less often as they get older. For puppies less than 4 months old, consider 3-4 meals per day. For puppies 4-6 months old, 2-3 times per day. And after 6 months, consider twice a day.

Why did you reduce the quantity of Taste of the Wild Wetlands product in the bag from 30lbs? to 28lbs.?

Asked by: Ronald
Hello, Ronald! Over the course of the last five years, we’ve sustained a significant increase with our ingredient costs. Unfortunately, we had to account for these changes - our options were to either raise the price of our 30-pound bags or adjust the size of select recipe bags without adjusting the price. We chose the latter, knowing that regretfully some customers would be unhappy with either choice.

My 8 year old, 20 lb sheltie was just diagnosed with kidney disease. He's been on your product (dry & canned) fowl for a year. I don't see a reason to switch to another product....do you ?

Asked by: Wendy9265
I am sorry to hear about your Sheltie’s diagnosis. While diet cannot cure kidney disease, specially formulated renal diets have been proven to help dogs with renal disease feel better and live longer than if they were to eat a diet formulated for healthy dogs, like the Wetlands Canine. Please talk with your veterinarian about the best nutritional options for your dog.

Amazon sells cans that are marked taste of the wild wetlands canine formula. It's not marked with "fowl in gravy" is this the same lcan?

Asked by: glenaw
Hello, Taste of the Wild's current packaging and formula includes, "fowl in gravy." Some online retailers haven't updated the product images on their website, even though the product they are selling is the current formula. If you currently have cans without "fowl in gravy" on the packaging, please feel free to call 800-342-4808 to speak with one of our product specialists.
