Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puppy loves it! When we got our puppy he was on a low quality Puppy Chow. We changed that immediately to another brand of food which was grain free and had no byproduct. Something about the food didn't sit right with him and he had very soft poos. He's a husky, so he's already a finicky eater but on the previous brand food he hardly ate some days. After that bag was gone I decided to try Taste of the Wild as I had seen it recommended on Husky websites and forums. We brought home a bag of Pacific Stream Puppy and put a bowl of it next to his previous food to see which he preferred. He went straight for the Pacific Stream! He eats way more than he used to (but still within healthy amounts for his age and weight) and has nice, firm healthy poos. He is alert and bright eyed and ready to learn at all times! We definitely recommend this for any puppy. Our cats even prefer his food over their own and we're now switching them to TOTW with salmon for cats to encourage them to eat their own food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loves it I was looking for a high quality, grain free, food for my Alaskan Malamute puppy and picked this up at my local farm store, where I trust the brands they sell. He loves it, it keeps him regular, and he's growing like a weed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 4 month old Montana can't get enough I received my little staffy at roughly 7 weeks old and her previous owners weren't feeding her to par, i switched her to this formula mixed with a little bit of filtered water to help her chew and she can't get enough of it 3 months later. she devours it everytime i put the bowl down and begs for seconds! her coat is shining and energy is great, she's growing phenomenally and i couldn't be happier with her growth and coat glam in which i fully blame TOTW! thank you guys!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barkley’s Fast Favorite! From the moment we brought Barkley home from the breeder, he ditched his old food and chowed down on his Pacific Stream Puppy food!! It helped firm up his stools, regulate his digestion, and has such a high nutrient content over his old food that he eats 2/3 of what he used to and is growing like a weed!! We love this food!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puppy loves it Prior to feeding my cocker spaniel puppy taste of the wild, we were feeding him blue buffalo, the puppy formula. After a few weeks of him eating the blue buffalo he would constantly be throwing up the food, sometimes up to three times a day. Once I switched him to taste of the wild smoked salmon my puppy has not thrown up since. Although the smell is not the most pleasant, it keeps him from throwing up and he likes the flavor. Also, the pieces of food are smaller and a more reasonable size for puppies. Thank you taste of the wild for a high quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product I have a Lab and since he was a puppy he has had allergies, it took a while to find a food he loves and improved his skin and coat. He was losing hair and his fur was dry, he had red dry flaky patches all over his belly and chest. After switching his diet to taste of the wild pacific stream I noticed his hair grew back, the red flaky bumps are gone and he’s not itching anymore! 5 Stars for this food!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My picky puppy loves this food I have a super picky german shepherd/husky mix puppy who always turns his nose up to kibble or food with chicken in it, and will only eat canned or fresh food that’s beef or fish flavoured which is a little bit more costly than I can afford, it’s so amazingly difficult to find a good quality puppy kibble that doesn’t contain a mostly chicken and I finally found this food! It’s the only kibble that he will eat and it’s affordable too! My only complaint is that I’m kind of unsure about potatoes in dog food, as it has low nutritional value for dogs and is used as a filler, this recipe would be better with oatmeal or rice instead of potatoes which are very good for dogs in comparison. Other than that I highly recommend this puppy food for people with picky pups

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent food for nursing moms!! My mama pug did fantastic on this puppy food during the second half of pregnancy and throughout nursing. The biggest difference I noticed is she did not lose patches of hair all over her body like many mama dogs do. That happened to her the three previous pregnancies. But not this time!! Her black coat is still as shiny as it was before she got pregnant and she hasn't lost any hair. This formula has taken great care of her. The puppies are now being introduced to it, and I expect them to do great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My golden loves this food We were originally feeding our pup Hills Science Diet when we noticed he was itching a lot so we decided to do some more research and found Taste of The Wild. He is in love with this stuff. It has helped him stop scratching so much and he has stopped all the nervous energy he seemed to have. We love this stuff and will always recommend this food to anyone who has pups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn’t be any happier I have been feeding my 5 month old European Doberman - Buddy, the Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream for puppies and he’s been enjoying every single bite of it. He has a very sensitive stomach and really just couldn’t eat anything else. And boy have I tried. This isn’t very accessible to me (live in Switzerland...), but it’s totally worth the hassle. No more diarrhea for him! He’s finally getting to a good weight and his fur is as shiny as it can get. Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't Get Enough! I've been feeding my puppy this formula and he trully can't wait to eat. I've needed to add a special dish so it takes him longer to eat so he can enjoy it a little longer. He has great energy and a beautiful shiny coat. When he reaches adulthood, he will be eating the adult stage along with my other dogs who have eaten this formula for years! They are all in perfect weigh condition with no signs of aging. Still act like puppies!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My dog hated this formula I had my pup on the TOTW High Prairie blend and decided to buy a bag of the Pacific Stream to give her some variety, she wouldn't touch it. She would come up to her bowl, sniff around a little bit, and walk away. I ended up throwing a 30 pound bag of food out because she honestly wouldn't go near it and my brother's dog wouldn't touch it either. I'm not sure why she disliked it so much, we've put Salmon oil over her food since she was a pup and she goes crazy for it. Something about this food that she just did not like.

We have used both flavors of puppy formulas for him and he devours them. I am so happy we have him on this and will continue into his adult years with this brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Her favorite food! We try to switch between the flavors to give our pup variety but Pacific Stream is our girls favorite! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our pooch loves it, and we love his coat! We often recommend Taste of the Wild to our friends and neighbors. We’ve been feeding the salmon puppy formula to our Standard Schnauzer, Rocky, since he was two months old. As he grew older—he’s now three years-old—his coat became shiny and he’s filled out pretty well body wise. Rocky is a healthy, active pooch, and we love him dearly. He deserves the best. So, to us, Taste of the Wild tops them all. I am soooo glad that the PetSupermarket sales associate recommended Taste of the Wild to us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved allergies My boxer puppy was suffering from the worst food allergies. We tried several different brands and ingredients/ sensitive skin formulas with no relief for her. After many visits to the vet we still had no answers other than she suffers from allergies. Rated 4 out of 5 by from My girl won't eat. We have been using Taste of the wild for over a year now for our cats and dog. We have tried High Prairie and Pine Forest in the past and Fizzle, my bulldog, snubbed her nose up about half way through the bag. We just got Pacific Stream for her, the only way she will eat it is if I mix the Pacific Stream wet food in it. Then, she still picks out the wet pieces. Stubborn girl!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Molly LOVES Pacific Stream! We adopted Molly two weeks ago, she came to us eating another dog kibble that was making her itch and have hot spots. We immediately switched her to Pacific Stream and her skin and fur are now so soft and she is itch free! Molly gobbles up her food as soon as we put it down! We love that its a family owned company who puts pet nutrition and well being as their top priority!

Thanks so Taste of Wild for making my puppy happy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misleading amount So the bag that cost close to $50 says it is 30 pounds, however I poured the ENTIRE thing into my food container that holds up to 25 pounds! Explain that one! You should lower the cost if you aren't going to actually give us the 30 pounds we pay for. Pretty annoyed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooper Loves It!! My Golden Retriever has been on TOTW Upstream Salmon since I stopped with his puppy food which is about 8 years. He loves it( but really he loves food), but this has been so good for him especially since I don't overfeed him. He will be 9 tomorrow. Thank you Kathi

Hello, I was wondering if you had heard of any pets having very strong smelling urine while on the Pacific Stream Puppy food? If so, is it due to the salmon? Thank you

Asked by: Kristen
Hi, Kristen. We have not had any reports of this food affecting the odor of pets’ urine. Eating salmon has been associated with a change in urine odor in humans, but this hasn’t been studied in pets. Abnormal smelling urine can be a symptom of a urinary tract infection. We recommend consulting with your veterinarian to determine the cause of the odor.

Our dogs eat the High Prairie Dry Dog Food. Recently one developed a renal stone which was 85% magnesium (struvite) and 15% calcium phosphate. The vet indicated we may need to change their diet. Which of your products would you recommend to change?

Asked by: Robert
Hi Robert - we are sorry to hear about your dog’s stone! Your dog may need a prescription diet to help eliminate or prevent future stones. We recommend you work with your veterinarian to find the most appropriate diet.
