Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our cats are crazy for it! Our two cats beat us to the food dish for this food. They absolutely love it, and we couldn’t be happier with the ingredients. It’s chunky, healthy and they eat every last bite. I am disappointed though-it’s increasingly harder to find and pet stores are telling us no more for the foreseeable future. I don’t know why and we are now down to having to integrate an all new brand and no luck so far. Please please please tell me production and availability is around the corner!! ~ some very loyal customers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only canned and dry foods our cats will eat We brought our sensitive Himalayan kittens up on Taste of the Wild dry and wet foods, and it is only food they like or that agrees with them. We tried to give them other brands, but either they would not eat them, “burying” them, or their stomachs couldn’t handle them. At 8 years old now, they are healthy: normal weight, and have beautiful skin and coats. We give Taste of the Wild a lot of the credit. Our cats always look forward to their “dinner,” and are happy to snack throughout the day on their kibble. Don’t know what they’d do without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our Cats Love This Both our cats seem to have allergies, so our vet recommended that we try a different cat food and one with fewer carbs. They went nuts for the salmon and venison canned food. It's in chunks, which usually our cats don't eat, but I was surprised that they liked it. It's too soon to know if it helps their allergies but I know it's at least healthier than what they were eating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for sensitive digestion! We have been trying to find a high quality wet food that didn't upset our boy's tummy. This food is high in quality, smelled like real meat, and didn't leave his stool runny after digestion. The food is good without being too rich.

I have just started feeding Taste of the Wild to my two girls. I want to feed a combination of wet and dry. They are 1 yr old and weigh about 6lbs. How much of each should I feed? Thank you.

Asked by: Catfancier
When mixing canned and dry food, they should be added together to equal the total calorie recommendation. For a six-pound healthy adult cat, the daily calorie requirement would be approximately 200 calories. You could feed any combination of Rocky Mountain wet and dry food that results in a total of 200 calories, such as one 3oz can (81 calories) and a little less than 1/3 cup dry (119 calories). And of course, we always recommend consulting with your veterinarian to develop the best feeding plan for your cat.
