I am a professional pet sitter so my life is pretty much devoted to animals. I recently rescued a 3 year old Shi-tzu who came to me with everything from Colitis to skin problems to severe ear infections. After my 3rd trip to the vet in a week and a half, she suggested that I look into putting him on a salmon diet because all of his issues had to do with inflammation of some type. I was a little concerned because we do not have too many pet food stores in our area. I didn't want to put him on something that I may run out of or have to drive a great distance to obtain. I happened to be in our local Tractor Supply store and I saw your food. After reading the label intently I decided to give it a try and all I can say is WOW. All of his troubles cleared up in a little over a week. I now would like to put the rest of my animals on it as well as have my clients put their pets on it.

MY PETS LOVE YOUR FOOD!!!!!!!!!! I love it too!! I had to tell you how happy I am that I found Taste of the Wild. I used to be a vet tech, and I thought I was feeding my 3 dogs, and 4 cats "premium" food. My dogs had constant problems with digestion, and not wanting to eat. My cats had vomitting issues, and serious weight gain even with "weight loss" formulas. I got really concerned with all of their food after 1 of my dogs got sick. It has nothing to do with food. She has had serious back problems all of her life; part of her spine isn't formed right, but everything got much worse about 6 months ago. She gained about 7 lbs, because she wasn't really running, and wasn't walking as much as in the past. The vet put her on a perscription weight loss formula, and she did lose weight, but I just started looking into other ways to help her, and nutrition seemed an easy thing to change and it could do a lot of good. One of my other dogs, who has had many digestion problems all of his life, and has been on countless foods, both prescription and not, seemed like he might benifit from a food change the most. Raw diets sound good, but honestly I like the convenience and cost of dry foods. I looked at so many foods online and in stores. At the Fiesta Pet Deli in Pompano FL, I asked about Timberwolf food, and they suggested your food, and gave me samples of the High Prarie diet, and my dogs LOVED it!!!!! I took my time switching them over, but for the last month, we have been SO happy with the results. NO MORE DIARRHEA!!!!!!!!!!
Ted never wanted to eat that much, and now he's happy to get a bowl of food!! Saki has gained back a bit of the weight she lost, but we'll work on losing it again. The only complaint I have is that the peices are too big for my chihuahua. He HATES food!! He likes your food better than anything else I've tried, but I have to break it up. It's really hard to break into small enough peices, and if I crush it with something, it gets too crushed. I actually switched him off your food, but would switch him back in a second, if you made a small bites version. Those are hard to come by in real quality food.
As for the cats- AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! The Festival Pet Deli first gave me samples of other foods for them, and they didn't like them at all. I tried another sample from another speciality store, and they liked it, but not like your food. I went back to Fiesta, and they gave me samples of the Rocky Mountain formula, and my cats died and went to heaven! There has been NO VOMITING, not even a hairball in over a month!!!!!! They have so much energy! They lost weight!!! The best is my youngest, Eli. He was a feral kitten, and he sits by his bowl like he just caught the best mouse in the world!! He crouches by his "kill", and looks around like he is guarding the bowl. I tried to give them raw food, but none of them would touch it. They see your bag, and they come running!! I tell all of my friends about your foods all the time.
I'm going to try the fish formula for my dog who has gained some weight back, since it has a little less fat. She can't walk very much, and she's on steroids, so I know she's not going to lose much, but I know she'll like it, and that it's so much healthier than the prescription stuff that I paid twice as much for, and have 1/2 a bag of sitting in my kitchen. Thank you for the great food!!!!!!!!!!

I am absolutely delighted to have discovered your food. My dog especially has food allergies to chicken, corn and oatmeal and does not have any bad reactions to your foods. :) I had him on Nutro lamb and rice and he broke out in welts all over his body, not to mention he was eating twice as much as I now feed him on Taste of the Wild. Having a 120lb dog, feeding him is not cheap and with 3 kids as well I felt that I was going to go broke. I now spend half as much as I was spending on dog food and my dog is much healthier! Just wanted to say thanks and let you know that I am constantly recommending your foods to everyone I know!

I just wanted to thank you for making such a wonderful food. My service dog Loki has always been a picky eater. He is a hard keeper and we have struggled to keep weight on him. We had tried many different brands including Canidae, Nutro, and most of the top brands out there. Before we started feeding your food he was always scratching and his eyes watered We have been feeding him the Pacific Stream Canine Formula and he LOVES it. His scratching has stopped and his eyes are clear. He also eats ALL of his food and looks great now. I can't tell you how much it means to me to have him in such good condition. Loki has a very important job and I depend on him every day, so he has to be at peak performance. With your food he looks forward to his meals and actually enjoys eating. Thank you very much.

Thanks for an excellent dog food. My wife and I have three large dogs that were being fed a different brand, which were recommended by our vet, but getting them to eat it was a chore. After trying a couple of sample bags of TOTW on each, they have become pretty conscious of when it's "time to eat" and don't hesitate to let us know by barking and leading us to the pantry. Your product is a big hit with them and us. We haven't tried the Pacific Stream variety yet, but will try that next for some variety. Thanks again for the great products.
