Pacific Stream Canine Recipe with Smoke-Flavored Salmon is rated out of 5 by 194.Rated 5 out of 5 by Carolyn from Taste of The Wild I have been feeding Taste of The Wild for nine years now to both my Long Haired Chihuahuas and my Min Pins, with out a doubt it is the best food I have ever been able to buy they have thrived on it. There coats are beautiful and since I mix the food using the salmon as a base and then another flavor, I have been able to cut out the omega 3 suppliment I used to add as they get enought through the food. It upsets me to see the negitive comments that seem to fly around right now saying this is the food that is causing problems. I will continue to feed my dogs Taste of the Wild with no hesitation that they are getting the best diet available out there.Date published: 2017-07-31Rated 4 out of 5 by JeK9 from German Shepard TOTW 3 years now We switched to TOTW Salmon 3 years ago for our GSD when he was about 3 yrs old (he was having bad stools (mushy) and his coat was not shiny and itched all the time. After going on TOTW Salmon based product - his stools improved significantly and shiny coat + less itching... but since the recent indigence change we noticed that the stools are bigger/looser. His coat is still nice and itching about the same... so it would be 5 stars if ingredients remained the same. We might start examining other products to see if his stools improve...Date published: 2017-02-25Rated 5 out of 5 by SHANNON from Still Loving it After All These Years Our Weimaraner has been eating Pacific Stream for about 8 years now. He still gets excited daily when it’s time to eat. You would think he would get tired of the same food day after day but not my boy. He loves it! I dog sit often in my home & they don’t want their food when they’re here. They smell his and refuse to eat theirs, lol. I end up mixing some of his in theirs to make them happy. Your food has kept his coat shiny & skin allergy free. Not to mention healthy stools. He breaks out with bumps if he eats other brands, like the dogs we sit for. Thank you for making a quality dog food for our boy Gunner.Date published: 2018-04-22Rated 5 out of 5 by DF07 from Great kibble solution!! Our handsome Chocolate Labrador is not a picky eater and loves just about all foods; However, his sensitive stomach is quite particular. We set out to change food because he was getting repetitive ear infections, his skin was itchy and he was constantly shedding as though it was always summer. We were so relieved at how easily his tummy transitioned to TOW Pacific Stream, without any soft stools. Since switching, ear infections and itchy skin is a thing of the past, and his coat looks fantastic!! Although we have had the Mini Australian Shepherd (the pickier eater) on a small breed food with no sensitivity issues... but once we introduced the TOW Pacific Stream, she eats out of the big guy’s dish and leaves her kibble ~ lol. I highly recommend this food!Date published: 2019-03-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Benny from Best food for Wheaten Terriers We have owned three Wheaten's over the past 35 years and our first two unfortunately did not dine on Taste of the Wild. They both had skin allergies and were always at the vet. Our third dog Bogey dines only on TOTW Pacific Stream and its unbelievable what a difference it has made. No skin problems, tons of energy, great teeth and as healthy as can be ! He is 2/12 years old and loves his Taste of the Wild !!Date published: 2016-09-27Rated 1 out of 5 by Biffy from Stop with adding pea protein A few years back I researched a lot of foods to find one my dogs could eat, due to numerous food allergies. I chose pacific salmon formula. However, over the last year, I have noticed facial itching and ear infections again and could not figure out why. Now I know. The formula was changed and peas were added. Now it is back to the drawing board. At least Other brands had the decency to put a large call out on their food when they changed formulas and added peas. Can't feed taste of the wild anymore.Date published: 2017-02-05Rated 5 out of 5 by MDLines from 2 Great Danes - They love this food! We own 2 Great Danes, they have been eating The Taste of the Wild Salmon Dry Dog food for 4 years now. First started our Male Dane on TOTW when he was a puppy and had puppy acne. The Quality of the food helped to clear up his acne and balance his diet. He has been eating it ever since. Our Female Dane has skin allergies and switched her to TOTW and this helped to balance her outbreaks and provide a healthy smooth coat. We had to get her a slow eating blow so she wouldn't eat the dog food too fast, safe to say she enjoys the taste! They are both very healthy, strong, and fit dogs.Date published: 2017-06-15Rated 5 out of 5 by DRCinBethel from HEALTHY DOGS thanks to this food Our three dogs have been fed only this food every day for over five years, plus my homemade dog biscuits and baby carrots as treats. That's it. Our vet and our groomer always remark on how gorgeous their coats are, how bright eyed they are and that their overall health is so good. I attribute this to lots of love, exercise and GOOD food from Taste of the Wild.Date published: 2018-04-16
